    Vienna's Ferris Wheel

    Vienna, Austria

Vienna's Ferris Wheel, one of the most frequented attractions in the Danube metropolis, is aided by a breathtaking new array of Philips Color Kinetics color-changing LED lights that illuminate it against the night sky. 30 Philips Color Kinetics ColorBlast Powercore spotlights strategically ring the Ferris wheel, evenly illuminating its steel skeleton, while nine ColorReach Powercore gen2 floodlights project beams of light almost 500 ft (152 m).

Each fixture in the wheel's rim can be controlled separately, allowing designers to create a near-infinite array of dynamic color shows a capability the Ferris wheel's management has certainly showcased.

    Sony Center

    Berlin, Germany

Sony Center is an international commercial, communication, and cultural hub that draws nearly 8.3 million visitors a year. The focal point of the complex is The Forum, a roofed public square. The Forum's original incandescent lighting system, after constant operation, was reaching its maximum life expectancy and had become too costly to maintain.

The client was looking for a replacement system that was long-lasting, energy-efficient, and low-maintenance, but that could still create color-changing light shows. As a solution the team installed Philips Color Kinetics ColorReach Powercore and ColorBlast Powercore LED floodlighting fixtures, which were powerful and flexible enough to achieve all of the project's goals.

    Stadion Center

    Vienna, Austria

Stadion Center offers over 215,000 sq ft (19,974 m2) of shops and restaurants and an innovative facade that is the largest video wall in Europe. The designers of the building envisioned a state-of-the art video facade that could display advertisements, logos, and artistic video effects. To achieve this, the Center was wrapped in a digital skin using iColor Flex SLX, a flexible strand comprised of multiple RGB LED nodes and the control method of Video System Manager Pro.
